I just checked,this doesn't seem to be an option. Unless you try to wait for either the junta or the troika to fail

Just wait till you can decide who you want to take over, there will be three options. One of them will be Lenin's wife publishing Lenin's death wish letter, which states that Kirov should be the new leader.
