Replace Stuffs only works on Deconstructable Structures

I've been having an issue where doors are built under walls so that the wall is not deconstructed, and then when I manually deconstruct the wall the room becomes outside as if the door is not there?

Will not replace fueled smithy with electric smithy

Not sure what else to say. it replaces the kitchen stove and the tailor bench just fine but it won't replace the smithy without deconstruction
