Drifting Rhizodus

Am I the only one with this problem? My Rhizodus keep drifting away while breeding under water, and even through walls and stones. Anyone knows a workaround for this?

Rhizodus are technically amphibious by the game code, so they will slowly sink as with any amphibious creature. Back when I was breeding them, i had them on a submerged s+ cliff platform, and it worked.
