Trying to disable X-Gigantophis
Been playing ark with a buddy, and we go to the ocean on genesis part 1 and there are gigantophis, EVERYWHERE. I mean anywhere deep or shallow there are at least 5 in sight at all times in the water. And they are super annoying. So i went into the .ini file and added the NPC replacement code and it's not working

NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="ocean_gigantophis_character_bp_c",ToClassName="")
This is the code i used and i did change the .ini file to read only, and the [/script/shootergame.shootergamemode] is at the top of the ini file i don't know what to do. But i want these damn snakes gone. (using a nitrado server btw)

Its less a mod thing and more Gen2's ocean. It's an exceedingly unstable biome as a whole. Anything added in even low intervals will tend to start spawning abundantly.

Both its percent chance to spawn and the maximum desired number to allow for it out of the total biome population is 0.01.

Meaning it has a 1% chance to spawn and is allowed to make up 1% of the total amount of creatures in its biome at maximum.

Due to the fact there's just so much in the Gen2 ocean biome, though (mostly due to the metric ass-ton of coels everywhere), even low rarity things start being spammed everywhere.

For instance, the Harbinger in my atlas mod has spawn rates of 0.002 (0.2%) and there's still at least 10-15 on the map at any given time.

Don't worry i fixed it, ark was just being weird with the ini file perms. I had to use the server ini access instead of the file itself. The change stuck when i did that.
