Getting a hatzegopteryx egg
There is no video of how it works. The wiki says it is a 5% chance from wilds and I've killed about 12 so far. I use a quetz with turrets and Im wondering if the body holds it or it just drops where it dies.

its coded to direct deposit it into the inventory of whatever kills it. Since 5% is already low, turrets may not work since it (the code) doesnt know what to do when its supposed to give the egg. Using turrets to whittle down most of its HP is probably a solid plan, before using melee for the final blow

I was test in single player and just killing it worhe the creative gun many times over to see If I could get one, would that no work if I used an instakill device? Such as that or the Sword from the Daddy DMac and Froggyman mod?
