COMPLETED FOR NEXT RELEASE

- Checked Utahraptor for animation defects. Looks good in latest devkit.
- Add INI settings to tame Liplurodon
- add INI setting to allow mosa taming
- confirmed that bull rex can hit herbivores
- Reduced bull rex spawn dramatically. Element drop will remain same but reduced population should make this more valuable.
- Add a 50% chance to ignore rafts for leedsychthis every 20 seconds, and do a resize. A warning message will float when under attack or when the leedsycthis is simply circling nearby.
- Improved Liplurodon's aggro table so it doesn't pick bad fights... add hunger timer.

HIGH PRIORITY


- Review valdoraptor pounce code and reduce its ability to successfully pounce off medium to large dinos, with an emphasis on stegos and tricero being quite immune.
- resolve why apex dinos are causing damage to teammates (raid damage likely)
- review if gigas sometimes lose aggro after being attacked

STANDARD PRIORITY

- Look at making scaling titanboa to be more correctly sized.
- Look at making egg stealing an option for large dinos instead of tranqs
- Add 20% more health to Argentino over a bronto, make it tame-able. Check why max respawn is always 6 (probably PvP raid clamp)
- Review microraptor and thyalcoleo pounce ability also
- review why utah/valdo raptors arent getting pack buff or pounce on things
- fix gigananto foot dust animation
- review paracer size and stat balancing
- review tusco size
- review bronto damag (too low?)
- review if bull rex is too easy to kill (maybe improve fear debuff to be irresistable)
- review ankylo for damage reflect to make them more survivable
- review AI decision tree on attack targets... herbivores should run from carnivores, carnivores prefer smaller prey than humans
- disable griffons
- reduce aggro timer for doed and ankylos

For those interested I'm looking at the overall sizing of the marine animals and here is a screenshot of the proposed remodelling:

The giant leedsychthis is the original Ark size... which I have resized to be historically accurate. You can see human models next to it which are spaced to be 2 metres per human... so the Leed is around 28m long,

Next, you'll see the mosa and megaldon.. I had to shrink the mosa a bit and the megalodon actually got lengthened again.

Next to that is the liplurodon.

Now the kicker is the plesiosaurus. In reality, plesiosaurus was about 3.7m long... but Ark developers made it like... well 30m long at least and put a platform saddle on it. WTF! Completely unrealistic.

So this will annoy some people... but I intend to completely nerf the plesiosaurus down to 3.7m and get rid of its platform saddle. It will also focus on smaller fish and be hunted by the larger sea animals.

Combined with the other realism improvements already (manta and jellyfish changes)... the seas of Ark will now be far more realistic. I will be looking at the squid soon.

In the long run, dolphins and the leedsychthis will be default tameable and rideable marine animals.

A big BIG thank you for your efforts with the mod at this point.

And now a wish because of the Leedsychthis:
If you don't completely remove this Moby ♥♥♥♥ behavior, then please revise the attack mechanics on rafts.

So that the Leedsychthis no longer ignores all structures & attacks the rafts directly and above all, that the damage per bite is no longer absurdly high.

Please also have an ini option for megalodons whether it can be tamed and ridden like the Mosasaurus. :)

Almost forgot: please adapt the X-Dinos introduced with Genesis to your modded Realism Plus variants.

You'll be happy to know that I have just finished the Leed rework. It is now resized to be historically correct (per the screenshot above).

I have also introduced a mechanic where every 30 seconds there will be a 50% chance for it to drop aggro. I've been testing this, and now an encounter with a Leed will not result in guaranteed raft destruction. There is a reasonable chance it will lose interest and give you a chance to get away. But after 30 seconds it may either remain calm or it will regain aggro.

When the Leed attacks a red message will appear notifying you.
When the Leed drops aggro, a green message will appear notifying you that it is now circling your raft.

I will put the timer and percentage chance as INI options in case people want to tweak them.

First Im really impressed by your incredible work and how much you put effort to make a piece of work with this mod.

i have just a complaint about the meg and Leed size, acording last study they was about 12 to 16m long sorry for being a party pooper. ^^"

The egg stealing should probably be the only way to tame dinos because if you tranq out a creature and give it its favorite food, its not gonna love you forever and be willing to die for you. You have to imprint the creature from birth to gain its respect, or at least passive tame baby dinos and while the parents aren't watching and then runway with dino(lol this sounds so wrong).

For that Egg-Stealing-Mechanic is there already a Mod, called "The Hunted". ;)

I like the egg stealing mechanic from the hunted, but I wish this mod could have that mechanic, it feels a bit more immersive instead of drugging a creature and having it be your best friend for life. The Hunted is open source right now so I wish this mod could adopt that feature.

Egg stealing- get nests continued mod, make nests appear and can yoink eggs from there. Works fine so far with this mod.
