Army maintenance increase
I was playing as Asra Expedition until 1495, then half of the map suddenly became unfogged, messages about available mercenary bands showed up, my army upkeep cost raised from 0.06 to 0.29 for infantry regiment and force limit got cut by half. Is that intented?

The map spread hits 50 years in which unlocks merc bands in the new areas you can see. And you lose the adventurer buff 50 years after you settle so yeah, that's pretty much normal.
