Heck no dude.
Those two are two of the more challenging invader factions.
And if the players work together, neither is as impossibly hard as they might seem.
Yeah but if they show up they get polled out almost immediately. No one beats them because no one plays them at all. It would be better to take them out and use that space for invaders or defenders that people actually want
I'll give you that, to a small extent, but not entirely.
I remember playing against the Blackmarch guys from time to time, except on the LotR Only server.
And chaos was kinda rare, but oh boy when you did play against them, it required teamwork.
They could feel like the forces of the dark gods were really decending upon you when you fight them.
But if you take out Chaos, you'd have to take out the Empire of Sigmar, which would really suck.
That's the silliness of it.
The people who don't like them don't realize that they don't HAVE to play against them at all.
It's not that *I* don't want to play them, it's that *no one* does. They're constantly voted out of whenever they come up. Again, it would be a better use of the apparently limited space in the mod to, instead, have factions people want to play. Imagine you have room for six jelly beans in a package. One is the vomit jelly bean that everyone throws out. If no one is going to eat it, why would you keep making it.

Well, maybe if the damn LotR Only Server wasn't one of the only regularly played servers, the Chaos would be played against more often.
That's why the devs should at least make a few other Only dedicated servers. That'd probably get a lot more people playing.
And Sigmar is a good faction, could still use some work, but good overall. It's certainly not vomit. And neither is fighting chaos.
Chaos is one of the hardest invasions to fight against. It's practically like the Iron Man Challenge invasion.
And it does sound like you don't understand that about the Chaos invasion.
Though I have slightly different feelings toward the Blackmarch invasion.
I personally think they're not on the save challenge level as the Chaos one, but they have their own "charm" to them.
One of the things that makes them a fun challenge to go up against is, what with their necromancers and all that stuff they've got.
NA Official, EU Official, and House Brightfyre are the servers most populated. I haven't seen LOTR Only in months, if at all since Amber 2.0.
And yes, I understand Chaos. Apparently few people want to spend seven hours fighting them. Again, these are not my opinions, these are my observations on what people do and do not play, and Chaos is constantly voted over.
Well, back when I played the mod a lot, before Maroon decided to be a jerk and perma ban me, the LotR server was the only server I've seen that was regularly populate.
And yeah, I've seen NA and EU 1 & 2 be populated before, but in my experience, it was the LotR Only server that was most regularly populated. Why else do you think someone would post a thread here saying that this was a LotR mod? And no, I'm not joking.
But I know that the only real reasons that Chaos would get voted over or against is
1. On the LotR server, you were only stupidly ever allowed to fight against Mordor or Isengard.
2. Because many players have it in their minds to just try to play by themselves, in a co-op mode focused mod. And heaven forbid that they be forced to work together.
But I played against chaos a few times, and the team was forced to work together each time because they were no joke.
There's big flaw in your logic.
If the team can survive by working together, it will probably take an hour or so to play against any of the invasions, not just chaos.
Again, this is not my opinion. These are statements based on my personal observations. I have never seen a team even finish Chaos, and the games I have seen have all lasted above four hours.
And you think what I'm saying isn't based on my own personal observations?
And did you expect the Chaos Invasion to be easy?
They're supposed to be one of the hardest invasions to fight against.
And I've seen a few times where, when the team was following a plan and working together, facing the chaos guys were manageable, not easy, but doable.
And it also depends on the map.
It's smartest to fight the forces of chaos on a map where you can make use of lots of narrow chokepoints, such as Stanley Fortress or Helm's Deep, just to name two of the easier maps. Though one game I remember fighting Chaos was on Snowy Valley.
But maybe if you and other people bothered to work together more often, for the long term, than maybe you'd see that Chaos wasn't that hard to fight against.
Because I remember a little event, and only at most, 24 of us make it to wave 18 pretty freaking easily. And though we were the Greeks vs the Crusader Invasion, it still proves my point about teamwork.
Ah, I get it, you're the best player in the community and therefore your word is gospel. Gotcha.
