Well, he's doing it for free and credits the FH2 team. I think you can settle this without taking down the addon because it's just too great

I dont see a reason why he doesn't "Have permission" he credited your work.

"Credit" is not enough. You can't take content someone else worked hard on and put it up for free somewhere else, especially without asking permission. The maker of this mod actually asked for permission on our forum, but when it became apparent that it would not be given, he just ignored us and published out content anyway. This is extremely dishonorable bevavior.

Edit: Also, this addon is not "great". It takes the work of actually talented people, rips it out of their project and remixes it. It took no talent or creativity to make it, just stealing the work of people infinitely better than this guy.

You guys saying "whats the big deal? He gave you credit" could stop for a minute and look at it through the eyes of the people who actually made this content. How would YOU feel if the assets you worked on for years was taken without asking first? Even if the perpetrator would give credit after being caught, it wouldnt make you feel any better. Dont be a douchebag, stop supporting thiefs.

Ts4EVER, who cares, even if he didn't ask for permission to even make the emplacements, be curteous to the creator and be nice enough that he supports the game and decided to be nice enough to show the respect for the game and make mounted weapons. What is it you really want from him? Taking it down really doesn't solve anything when he can just put it back up there anyways. He's doing them a favor. Either accept the appreciation or leave him alone to his hard work.

On top of that he is not even making money from the use of these in his mod.

Likewise, he's doing for fun and showing respect for the game itself.

@Ts4EVER, why is this such a big issue for you? One of my friend's made some of the models for Forgotten Hope 1, like the Mosquito bomber, Lancaster and the B-25, i think his name on the FH website is Hawk, he made some models for the first mod, not the second one, but he's pretty chill on people using his models as long as people credit him for the models. And Gredwitch IS giving credit to the original creators of the plane models and the website! Can you please just allow GW to use the plane models for Gmod? Lot's of people really like the planes on here, in fact, doesn't it draw in more fans for the best Battlefield 1942 mod? The Forgotten Hope 2 sequel brought in even more players! Think of how many players will come back to Forgotten Hope 2 if GW get's more views and people comment what "game" it's from, when GW explains it's from a mod, people will want to check it out. See? For the old players,the servers will come back to life again like it did before Gamespy shutdown! I know there's a work around for the shutdown, but BF modders(like myself) thought the Gamespy 1942-Battlefield 2 servers were gone forever, until several years later an amazing BF application brought it back. Don't you want Forgotten Hope 2 to...Not be "Forgotten"? (If you catch my drift.) Think how popular the FH series will be again if these plane models were to have alot of views and likes, and GW tells commenters that is from a Battlefield 2 mod. @Ts4EVER, I have Forgotten Hope 1 and 2, i love the mods, you all did an incredible job creating them, but, wouldn't it be nice to have the servers all full of players who loved the nostalgia of the original Battlefield game(and mods) that started it all? Also back before ♥♥♥♥♥ ass political ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ even "censored" or ruined historical accuracies.
