I've noticed your advise to put those type of comments in a forum after i did the comments, so i'll just transfer them here

Just got the hero, made a run or two with him. So far feels like a leper. Except it has ArP when you're going torchless which seems neat for dark antiquarian runs, and it has the Hellion's double-stun.
Model itself feels a bit off to me. A bit too sharp, clean and bright, compared to the rest. Doesn't have the same hue AW and DS have from your mods. The mace seems... small compared to the rest of him :D
The skill animations are also leper's, which is kind of okay. Personally I can't think of any other way to swing a giant mace :D I shouldn't really judge people for not making new animation when I can't draw myself, but i wanted to point it nonetheless.

Also seem to conflict with the districts. I got a string value instead of the text on the training ring. idk if it's because of the mod itself or because i have too many heroes benefiting from the same place.

Class seems interesting enough, but not my cup of tea as it is right now. :)

Probably because too many heroes benefit from it. If you can send a screenshot link via imgur, that'd be perfect.

This is a reskin + class. I don't possess or intend to buy Spine for animations for skeletons.

It seems like you weren't very interested in other parts of his kit, like the knockback, darkness steroid, dark orb attacks, guard, etc.

He's definitely more than what you've listed, but if you're not interested, no worries. Aside from some lightness adjustments, the art won't change. You are welcome to suggest ability changes, though.
The biggest issue I have with this class right now is the sounds the class has. Hearing the relatively light toll of a bell is a little incongrous with the idea of someone swinging a giant mace + bell combination, and I'm fairly certain the sound for the basic attack (Can't recall its name) is either very soft or nonexistent.

Can't really speak on class's balance other than it does seem a lot like the leper in that there's a high damage output that mainly focuses on the first two rows. I might have more to say once I've played enough of it.

The barks are entertaining enough - haven't yet read anything especially bad, and the crit quotes are as badass as they should be. Haven't yet seen a whole lot of afflicted or virtuous quotes yet.
So i really love dark souls and darkest dungeon, and this mod does a really good job of making Velstadt (thank you for staying close to lore and model) but i own darkest dungeon outside steam, any chance we can get a nexus download? thanks a lot for your time :]

Heya, King of Cinders.

Sure. I'll look into placing all of my mods on Nexus after the Dragonslayer rerelease. I'll have a chance to work on it more this weekend.

I've never done a Nexus release, but I'd love to do everything together.

I might make a mod pack with some special items & synergies. We'll see.
Ok thanks a lot great work btw.
i have been getting crashes when i apply this mod to my game.

to go more into details, i had this mod before the CoM update and on a save file where i have all his trinkets and stuff, the crash never happens until i go to the trinkets box and reach one of his trinkets (don't know which one), i would be grateful if i can get some help, thanks.

I'll reupload to the Nexus.

Done. Some adjustments were made, too.
thanks a lot, looking forward to sir alonne.
Hi Caedwyn, thanks for the great mod, been having a blast with him so far. Just wondering if there's a chance you are going to tune his lighting a bit? He seems considerably brighter than other characters especially in some of his moves.
Acturally nevermind, Caedwyn. I tuned the contrast myself and also managed to fix the shading of the croch area and filled the gaps under the shoulder and belt. If you want I'm happy to send you the files.

That would be great. I've noticed this issue, too, but haven't had the time/motivation to fix it. My modding time has mostly gone to Ciaran.

So I just started up a fresh DD campaign after a break. Trying out this class, now. One bit of feedback is I feel Two-Handed Smash should be a guaranteed starting ability. It's their bread and butter damage ability. It'd be like a Crusader without Smite. Or a Paladin without Crusader Strike.
