Report a translation problem
Work around: place foundation on Ankylosaurus saddle and you can stand on it after.
Reason: Anky is a smaller creature that players cannot stand on normally regardless of platformsaddle, changing this would require replacing the ankylosaurus creature, making the mod Non Stackable and Unclean.
its not supposed to look like the normal platform saddle like the bronto saddle.. I only added the metal floor, the mounting straps and reigns were left out..
I also didnt design this for multiplayer as its not balanced for PVP i mentioned that in the Disclaimer Discussion
I used the console command Fly, and suddenly found myself back on top of the karkinos again. So I mounted once more to see if I could replicate the bug, but this time my screen went black aside from my HUD, then the client crashed. I had to shut the client down via my computer's task manager. Server remained up.
UPDATE WHILE TYPING THIS: I logged back into the server and tried again, exactly the same happened, and this time I managed to get some screenshots. Will upload them and post them here, give me a mo.

I jumped on the saddle, then jumped off again, and saw this:

Map location I was ported to was indeed 50/50.

I used the Fly command, moved an inch, and instantly found myself back outside my base above my karki.

But then I typed 'walk' to disable fly mode, and this time I didn't even have to remount the karkinos, the client just crashed to a blackscreen instantly. Had to close it via task manager. Again, server remains up with no errors.

EDIT 2: Just tried the basilisk platform saddle, and having exactly the same behavior as the karkinos. Ported to 50/50, then client crashed.
Testing right now.. Looks like its acting normal on the Island
Craft, equip, mount,dismount...(wait cause nothings happening)...fly,walk,mount,dismount... Nothing like what you described

Did you have any structures placed on the platform when it teleported you?
If so where?
I dont have a server to test it out on... But i cant replicate the issue in singleplayer.. Does your singleplayer Karkinos function normally?
Have you tried unsubscribing, manually deleting the mod files and resubscribing? Not sure if the update this morning buggered something clientside
Another update: After trying the basilisk saddle as mentioned at the bottom of the last post, I logged back in, and my character's first person view was stuck like this:

I had to switch to third person to see and move around. Also, when in first person, all the sounds around me stopped playing.
Nothing I did fixed the view, it seems to be like that permanently. Don't worry I have the game backed up, so I can restore it and haven't lost anything^^ But it does seem to be a pretty big issue, whatever it is that's causing it.
As to single player, I haven't tested that yet. I'll see if I can give it a try and let you know.
Did you try purging your mod files and redownloading? There was a big update this morning

EDIT UPDATE: Alright, just tested the mod on a solo game, and it seemed to work fine. both the karki and basil saddles showed up properly, with the platform area on their backs (which wasn't showing on the dedicated server). And on dismounting, there was no wierdness with teleportation and/or crashing clients. So it looks like it's an issue unique to dedicated sessions.
A thought on that btw - you mentioned you don't have a server to test it on, but did you know you can host one on your own machine? That might allow you to test it out in a dedicated environment, and help to quash this issue ;)

I have several ways of testing dedi now, theres a dedi server test area in the DevKit and i also set up ASM for a local testing environment.. Still working on the problem... Very little to zero documentation out there for my specific issue

Can confirm. Will look into it as soon as i can.. It appears to be different from the deSync issue on official servers for all vanilla platforms caused by lag.. Usually solved by leaving render range and the structures go back to normal.. Problem going back to 2016 based on google searches. Does not fix This issue.. I will look into it.
This appears to be the Known dedicated server issue thats described earlier in the comments
