Imperial Navy Troopers & Grand Admirals
Hello Developers.

I have 2 selfish requests:

1. As the Empire please can we make Imperial Navy Troopers available to be recruited.

2. Please can you make the Grand Admirals available as heroes.

Thank you, really enjoyed your mod and would be absolutely delighted if these were implemented.

Thank you for the response!

1. Navy Troopers

I think this will improve the game as the Navy troopers add to the thematic experience since the Stormtrooper Corps have always been considered (Elite) troops and the Imperial Army is a completely separate branch to the Imperial Navy. Therefore it will make sense for Navy Troopers to be the garrison of Imperial Navy buildings or as the Navy's "General Infantry" for lack of a better word. This can open up some fun game-play mechanics regarding the Imperial Army VS Navy. Up to you. Another benefit for including this unit is that it fits in with the movies as they feature in all three original movies while army troopers are not. You may also choose to equip the Navy troopers with a special weapon (flamethrower or make them medics/ engineers) as a support unit as they are mostly seen in a technical role in the movies (but none the less always make a key appearance both on star destroyers and imperial bases and on Endor participating in the land battle) I see no reason why the Imperial Navy would desire to use their Navy troopers to support their other ground forces and would be a fantastic edition to your mod. They have featured notably in other mods and I thought I could give them the recognition they deserve here.

2. Grand Admirals

I am an "Imperial Player" and I thoroughly enjoyed playing your mod and liked the death for heroes system which gave real consequences for using Heroes properly and most effectively. However on harder difficulties you may relate it becomes harder to win without accepting a few losses here and there. Including heroes.
The Grand Admirals are perfect heroes to bring to the Galactic Conquest as they are a diverse bunch that will be exciting to use and they are numerical enough so that you can enjoy having a healthy supply of commanders to enjoy without getting upset about losing one permanently. I also lament how the Empire has so few Heroes who command Star Destroyers as their capital ship is indeed iconic and would be the choice pick of any Imperial Admiral worth his salt. Also I personally always like to have all my fleets led by a Hero (Commander) for thematic reasons.

Example: (GA= Grand Admiral)

GA Batch= Research Hero (possible Tie Phantom story)
GA Zaarin= Already featured in your mod (enjoyed this story)
GA Pitta= Commands Torpedo Sphere (maybe special ability against Aliens)
GA Declann= Battle Meditation/ Dark side user
GA Il Raz= Governor with COMPNOR ability for Human worlds
GA Makati= Bonus for Dark side users
GA Thrawn= Already included (I enjoy using)
GA Tigellinour= Both Admiral and Grand Moff (Governor with star destoryer?)
GA Syn= Part of the Dark Side Cult
GA Teshik, GA Grant, GA Grunger, GA Takel= All additional commanders who will be well recieved.

Having all of these available may be unbalances? so it may be an option to introduce the system you have in the Awakening of the Clone Wars for the separatist leaders and Jedi where only 5 are available for 30 weeks usage.

Of course the above is just me showing how this will improve the gameplay.

To summarise:

1. Navy Trooper- Progression for Imperial Navy and deserve more appearance. Also possible Imperial Army Navy competition as seen in 'A New Hope' Joint Chiefs arguing and allows Imperial Navy to compete on the grunt level or with their own special forces or their garrison forces (Implement as you see appropriate).

2. Grand Admirals- Add Diverse Heroes to the Imperial roster with Political, Dark Side, Research, Unit and many other fun features that can be implemented from all of these commanders. Also gives an excuse to have more Start Destroyer heroes. You could even include a rivalry mechanic (up to you). But they are perfect for adding more flavour and it makes sense for the Intergalactic Empire to have multiple top commanders to call on.

3. Once more thank you for this Mod, it has been a pleasure to play, I love the interface and the map quality and the campaign is always fun. I recently tried your team's Awakening of the Clone Wars and was very entertained there also. Thank you for taking the time to respond and I hope that I had done enough to convince you but also understand that you guys are the once putting in the effort. If you wish to discuss further I am always welcome to discuss on Steam or Discord etc.
