does anyone have any linux recommendations? ive tried all kinds of different setups and different versions of proton, and always seem to run into the game crashing or freezing at some point.

ive tried doing some steam launch options such as limiting the cpu to only 1 or 2 cores, ive read sometimes older games stuggle with multiple cores. i basically might get to one battle in galactic conquest before needing to close app.

i have a pretty good cpu and a 3060 so i feel like the hardware isnt the problem, but i dont know what else to look at in trying to get it running smoothly.
