In the mod, the british-held parts of india are held under the Raj, even though the Raj itself was only made after the 1857 revolt.Before then it was held by the East India Company.I think that there should be a cosmetic tag for the British Raj that calls it the East India Company until the 1857 revolt is over, when the Raj is properly formed.
