How to remove this mod and make Warhammer II vanilla to work again?
Hi, I know there are several threads about issues with this mod but, I cannot fix my game after I installed this mod manager.

I followed Kaedrin's instructions to remove the mod but even after that I cannot make vanilla to launch, simply clicking on "play" button does nothing.

I have uninstalled the game, deleted Kaedrin folder and Warhammer II folder from appdata, deleted every folder and file related to Warhammer in Steam, including the common redistributable. Installed the game again, but still not working. Tried these steps several times now. Anyone was able to fix a similar situation? Thanks!

If you deleted everything as you describe and clean reinstalled, the play button in steam will pull up the launcher. The play button on the launcher will open WH2.

Only suggestion I can make is make sure everything in appdata for WH2 is deleted, uninstall WH2 using WINDOWS programs and features or apps (depending upon what direction you go), then make sure all is deleted, and when you install again and it gives you a path to install, add a letter or number to the backside of that address to create an entirely new folder.

If that doesnt work, you do not have an issue with this launcher, but rather a problem with your system requiring support through steam.

I will try your suggestion but, if I download and install Kaedrin mod manager again, my game launches again. My guess is this mod modifies some key files in Steam, preventing it to load the game again without the mod.

Installing it on by changing the folder name, did not work, but it did installing it on a second HDD, that means the mod replaced/deleted any essential file/files on the steamapps folder. I will uninstall Steam and install it from scratch. Thanks for your help!

I had same problem. Was playing modded multiplayer with my friend, only three or four mods. Then I've started new singleplayer campaign with much more mods via KMM. But couldn't go back - even when turning off every mod in KMM and turning off only those three or four mods for multiplayer, still had "incompatible version" error message. Even after clean reinstall it persisted, so we had to start new campaign unmodded. Is there simpler way how to reset those modlists to previous state?

You probably have mods present that are .movie files like the mod that replaces majorkill for archeon. They will always be enabled even if you disable it in the mod managers. You have to physically delete them in the steam mod files to revert back to vanilla. You can find your mods at Program files 86/steam/steamapps/workshop/content, then find the one that is your warhammer 2 game.
