M4-78 locating the Power Cores
I cannot for the life of me find the Power Cores for the Central Zone Guardian quest. I've learned from another thread that this is apparently how they can be acquired:

1. You can get two from the central zone maintenance unit when he explains how to reactivate L5-65.
2. You can get one power core from Industrial Zone maintenance droid if you got parts for him (Manufacturing Recourses side-quest). If you didn't do that quest, you'll still get power cores if you didn't kill any other droids.
3. One can be found in the loading zone. (Try looking in containers.)
4. One can be found on a Sith's body, near the Environmental Zone's entrance.
5. One is dropped by one of the droids you kill in the Environmental Zone.
6. If you kill Kaah, you get a power core from his body, too.

I've managed to get 3 cores from method 1 and 2, but all the loading zone containers I've checked are already looted and empty, the sith body only gave me a lightsaber, no droids dropped any, and I didn't kill Kaah.

Is there something I missed, or a way to spawn the power core item in via console command? Unless something can be done I'm completely stuck here and will probably need to start a new playthrough (Unless I can just skip this planet and still finish the game).

Okay for anyone else that might be looking for a solution, I've found a workaround. Get the mod called "KSE - KOTOR Save Editor" here on the workshop. If you've managed to collect at least one power core already then you can add more to your inventory using that mod. The item will be listed as
800_powercor
in your inventory, and from there you can change the number of them you have to 4.

Unfortunately modifying my save file was the only solution I could find, but it worked.

Thanks, that actually helped.
The whole planet is not streamlined like the rest of the game, unfortunately. Mayhaps that was a reason why it was cut in the first place.
