He's talking about missing part for repairing IS-58 — one of 3 droids you need to repair by sidequest, it's a droid that stands next to entrance to Industrial Zone and doesn't react on you in dialogue.

2 of 3 parts can be finden, but the third part, Central Processor, locates on the Dead Droid that was in Industrial Zone in 1.3, but isn't appears in the 1.5 (info from thread on DS «/topic/8057-is-58/»).

So we ask for item code to add item manually in console.

Adding the item in manualy doesn't work, it tracks queststate, not itemcodes.
You can use KSE to change queststates.

Why it wouldn't work?
You have 2/3 required items in your inventory and give it to broken droid, you just can't obtain the third item. Finding droid parts on broken droids has nothing to do with queststates, it doesn't marks anywhere.
