Water removal

I placed the water in the wrong place. How can I remove it?

There should be a dot when looking at the water block with the connection tool, try and find this dot, and then delete the block that is found at the dots location.

Is there any way to make a pool or something, where the water stays inside the pool?

At the moment I have not created small "pool" like water planes, but it is something that could potentially be done.
