Please fix your resources they are ridiculously overpowering Greece and makes this mod unrealistic and boring to play. Lots of provinces seem as developed as Northern Italy. Thessaly has no way 2/2 factories right off the bat for example. A couple of civilian factories would do.
Averof is a Pisa class WW1 heavy cruiser and not a WW2 battleship. In Greek it is called "thorikton", but hell it isn't a real battleship. Read more here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_cruiser_Georgios_Averof
Greece starts with 6 star general and a couple more with 3 and 2. Really?!? This nearly 1 general for every 2 merarchies. This is so ahistorical and silly.
Please nerf generals in both quality and quantity. Greece
should start with 1 general and 1 admiral.
Also please nerf 4 star admiral. Greeks had indeed a great naval tradition, but little experience in commanding large fleets with combined arms. I would assign 2 stars (3 max, if you really want to lift Greek navy high).
National Focus is really OP. Only the Death Star is missing there.
I hope this is received as constructive feedback. I subscrived and placed a thumb up there.
Thanks!
The thought of a Greek Death Star actually makes me laugh a little bit. I bet that would have made the Greco-Italian war even more of a loss for Italy.
I am currently working on the mod (I have two days off from my job), and I will be working on making it less OP, and also integrating new features into the mod.
I took over this mod from another modder who had other obligations IRL, and decided to put it up for adoption. I still basically haven't changed much, aside from adding quotes from Greek leaders to the loading screen and fixing the issues that arose from the various updates that occured after the last time it was updated.
I will take the resources down a bit. They are a bit high.
I plan on bringing the stats down on the generals and admiral. I will probably keep 2 regular generals, 1 admiral, and 1 field marshall, but the stats on them will be lower than they currently are. This will bring the total down from 4 ordinary generals to 2.
The NF is really OP, you are absolutely right on that. I plan on cutting down the national spirit bonuses, especially the ones related to manpower, to 1/2 of what they are now.
I also plan on integrating historical naming for equipment into the mod.
Again, thank you for your feedback! It helps me find issues with the mod so I can work on them. I plan on releasing the next update for this mod either this evening or tomorrow.
Let me know, if you need any help.
Perhaps add a different photo to the two generals with the same photo.
I overhauled a bunch of items in the mod, focusing specifically on the National Focus tree.
I plan on adding events to the different possible leaders. But, I figured that I might as well release this version now to see how people like it before I go and expand the flavor for the newly added leaders.
I also created all of the new portraits. I might redo them at some point, however, they're good enough for now.
I personally find the choice of George II very interesting, however i find the focus tree for George II a bit lacking. As i see it there are two choice's right now, either "allies or neutral" i like that.. BUT the king taken power in Greece at that time, would not be easy. so i think the first parts, of his focus tree would be spend on securing power, either by "reinsuring Parliament" go Non-Aligned with elections, (still keeping George II as you're leader) or "install loyal ministers" Non-Aligned without elections (absolutism). after power is secured one way or another, you can began peking a side in the coming war, and maybe even "Avenge his feather" (aka war with turkey).
The others like choice for leader are good as well, although i would like if there was a "abolition of the Monarchy" in the focus tree for both communist and Venselos, and after that to proclaim a communist Greece or the Third Hellenic Republic. as a extension of this it would be nice to see a George II as national spirit (with diplomatic bonus for western countries) much like in uk, but you would loss him if choice so form the communist, democratic or royal dictatorship (as George is the leader after royal dictatorship) focus tree.
Regarding Portraits i think the Kaiserreich mod, have some Portraits like Metaxá and George II. However i think your own Portraits are really good too :D
I hope this was constructive, and I hope you would consider diss proposals.
for example, becoming an Absolute Monarchy, which will give you some nice bonuses, but will take away Stability unless he has gained the people's trust and heart while ruling (like conquering, loads of infrastructure, having a cerain amount of factories etc.)
or going into a Constitutional Monarchy, that while giving some nice bonuses to Stability and a bit into War Support, takes away the ability to really fight a war, unless you choose to make changes to the constitution.
these are all just suggestions, take your time with whatever you want to do with this mod, its great!
