the thing you don't understand is that, this is the author vision and not yours, if you dont like it dont buy it, the end.
any creator worth his salt, won't change his decision just because some whinner don't like something so irrelevant.
Nobody's hating, it's called "constructive criticism,". Saying this sort of thing shuts down any sort of potential discussion and makes you look like a total jerk. Not to mention, last time I checked it wasn't your place to decide whether or not they stay or go, so you have a tremendous ego to talk like that.
The thing YOU don't understand is that this isn't just a fanart gallery. This is something we get to vote on, deciding whether or not it winds up in the game, and if it does, our decision whether or not we spend our money on it. The Workshop creators which get their stuff chosen for the Tennogen rounds need to be receptive to what everyone wants or else a) DE won't pick it to put it in the game, and then everyone loses, and b) they are doing this to make money off of consumers, so they need to be receptive to potential buyer feedback. Otherwise, we all risk NOT getting this in ANY form.
As a potential buyer, I have every right to offer constructive feedback if something I see as an eyesore that doesn't fit with the rest of the design affects my vote and potential spending. When it's something I would buy 100% if it were not for one element I think is getting in the way of that decision, and especially when it is a recurring thing other people have brought it up as a concern. It is the content creator's responsibility to listen to the feedback to try and make it sell as best as possible, or else DE won't put it up for sale.
If there's enough of a split on this between prospective buyers, it can potentially lead to the creator making an optional helmet without it, and then everybody wins. Shutting down discussion like this makes you look like an idiot because you don't understand what this is about and are throwing your weight around nonetheless like you're clueless.
First of all... spelling and punctuation. Learn to use them properly.
Second of all, it's not irrelevant if a bunch of people have already brought it up as a concern and it affects their vote and/or spending decision, which can affect whether or not ANYONE gets this.
And thirdly, all you did was get salty that I criticized something you want to like, swoop in, act like an entitled child throwing a temper tantrum, and try to shut down any potential discussion by side-swiping it with name-calling and juvenile behavior. If I were the creator of this content, I'd be less inclined to listen to you on principle, and more inclined to find ways of making everyone happy by honoring the feedback on merit... which is precisely what I suggested. I recommended making a different suit where it would fit better, and that can please people who like it.
You have to be incredibly stupid to not even want to entertain giving the creator an opportunity to try a different design solution. If you give the guy a chance to try something out for the visor as a potential WIP, you might like it even better when you see it, and want that even more than what we have now. I'm suggesting he give that a try and see what people think, since again, this isn't a fanart gallery where he can do whatever he wants, and the dialogue with potential buyers is important for him and important for the Warframe community if this doesn't get enough votes to wind up in the market. It wouldn't be the first time a content creator on the Workshop did several incarnations of the same thing and gradually improved the design to see what people thought until it finally got approval from DE, so there's no harm in it. Saying no to that just because you want to act like a big man on the internet makes you look like a tool.
This "bangs stay, you STFU" attitude is incredibly juvenile, close-minded and short-sighted. All I'm saying is that we could use a few more options to choose from, and there's absolutely no harm in that.
if you want be a smartass go to tweeter
Also, when you mention that he's "name-calling," and being "Juvenile," it doesn't really carry any merit on your end when:
A) He actually didn't call you anything (He just mentioned "whinner" (indirectly,))
B) you actually called him stupid and close-minded for disagreeing with you, (You = directed specifically,)
C) you believe your opinion is more entitled than his,
D) and resort to mocking his puncuation and grammar despite being able to comprehend his entire sentence.
To sum it up, you disliked how straight-forward his opinion was, and retorted by attempting to look for ways to antagonize the situation. You even attempted to belittle him. There was of course a high-ground moral approach, but you seemed to sweep it right under the rug.
But hey, at least you got a response out of him, and man... It was actuallly pretty good.
