The Vank has no adjacency bonus whatsoever[78.media.tumblr.com]. Is that actually intended? I mean, I don't think it's unreasonable that without anything to the contrary in the description, a replacement can be expected to have the same adjacency bonuses as the original.

Hey @circeus, the replacement actually has exactly the same[i.imgur.com] adjacency bonuses as the original holy site district. It looks like the issue you're having is that the Hacienda from Mexico seems to apply its production adjacency bonus to any district that requires population (as seen in your screenshot). By doing so, it will overwrite the original yield of the district (at least in the user interface). I'm not sure if this is intended or not, but it might be worth giving Leugi a heads up about it just incase he isn't aware of the issue?

Quick example of the district adjacency placement as usual

The code in question from the Mexico mod

Update: I sent Leugi a message directly as a heads up

Actually, I had the screencap as evidence, because in game the district was genuinely not generating any faith[78.media.tumblr.com] for me.

Is it possible that something in Rule WIth Faith somehow interferes with Holy Site replacement districts? Because the first first game I played with that mod I had all sort of issues with the Lavra, and now again with the Vank. (or maybe the problem was Religion expanded? Gah! I'm gonna need to test <<;;)

@circeus I think that's because the production adjacency yield that was applied by Mexico to all districts (not just for Mexico) might have overridden the faith yield you'd normally get, at least from a user interface standpoint anyway. I had something similar when I applied a faith yield to a campus' adjacency bonus during some testing way back.

I must admit, I've no idea how/if Rule with Faith affects the Holy Site adjacencies so I can't really say, but I play with Religion Expanded a lot and I've never encountered any issues like this myself. It's probably easier just to disable Mexico first as it's the only solid lead at this point, and then see if the issue persists. If so, then we'll take a look at the logs to see if they can give us any clues as to what's happening?

I'm gonna test an armenia game without RWF and get back to you.

Huh, whaddayaknow, the Hacienda does seem to do that to the Vank. It seems to do weird things globally, too, because it shows up as an adjacency bonus for all unique districts, and after investigation, seems to conflict with any mod replacement district (so THAT was why I wasn't getting bonuses from the Siam Floating Market!)

Yeah that's what I suspected it was looking at Mexico's code (linked in the first message). I've let Leugi know. I remember him being pretty tied up with work and stuff last time I spoke to him, but I'm sure he'll look into it when he gets the chance. It's good that we know what the issue is though at least

On a different topic, I'm noticing that seventy valleys does not so much allow promotion without movement point costs as it resets the movement points entirely. The result is that effectively you get two extra movement points if moving, then promoting to reset to 3 movement points. Is that the intention?

Hey there!

I'm in a quite unique scenario which I think is the reason why Armenia has not been added.

I'm on Mac Air 2015, but am using Shadow Blade service. It is a cloud gaming service. In short, I'm using a cloud Windows 10 on Macbook Air.

I'm not an expert, but you can find more if you research 'Shadow Blade'
I'm not sure what happened, but when I was playing as CIVITAS Romania, I went to war with Armenia, and no matter what I offered, I could not make peace. I must've conquered sixteen of their seventeen cities, and even offering to give them back their entire empire for nothing wasn't good enough. At some point they brought Russia in with a trade deal I guess, and then I couldn't ever make peace with Russia either.

Before all of that, I had been at war with Hungary, and was able to make peace. After Armenia was completely defeated, I ended up at war with Hungary again, and couldn't make peace with them again.

I assume the problem is with Armenia, and not Romania, because peace WAS an option before Armenia got involved, but once they had, nobody would ever accept a peace deal. Not saying it wasn't super fun to siege them down, but eventually war weariness meant I couldn't really do anything anymore.

I had a similar issue with another Civitas civ, though I can't remember which one it was. I'm not sure if it's something with the mods or something else. I have a vague suspicion that it had to do with grievances, because after a while, they did eventually accept a peace treaty. I was kinda surprised at the time, because usually the AI will do almost anything for diplomatic favors, and they wouldn't settle for 100+ of them.

Здравствуйте, хотел бы узнать, как установить этот мод на пиратку?

We do not support pirated games. For obvious reasons.
