Interesting design choices. Breaking down the wall in chapter 1, and climbing across the pipes to get around a locked door in chapter 2, are both pretty unique elements that I don't see in a lot of l4d campaigns. The campaign pretty much entirely takes place inside the lab, which sounds potentially repetitive and boring, but it's only three chapters long, and the areas are still varied enough to keep it from being tedious. The finale overstays its welcome a little bit, but there are also a nice variety of areas to run through, both wide open and enclosed, and there are sufficient resources throughout the finale run that allow the survivors to gather health, throwables, and ammo.

That getaway cutscene is nothing if not memorable.

Enjoyable campaign. I only avoid rating it any higher because there are some areas that stretch on for a bit too long (like, walking across a long catwalk in a wide open room for 20-30 seconds while nothing else is going on). While that might make me seem impatient, it's more that it just messes with the flow of such a fast paced game. Otherwise, I think it's great.
