When changing my rights for one of my species in my borders that I uplifted to assimilation it looks like its working but then after a year nothing happened so I just kept waiting and about 15 years after the fact still nothing has happened with the assimilation and it was only 5 pops they are still producing nothing and listed as assimilating I've looked for a bit and the only thing I can find about it is to replace the "on_action_events.txt file" with the vanilla one I dont know if you know of any other solution I mostly wanted to bring this to your attention so you knew about it.
