my mech will not let me enter it

i have tried to enter the mech but i cannot get in the seat. nothing i tried seems to work to enter the mech, any suggestions?

try asking the mech to let you enter it, duh

if you see the thing on the front where the legs connect, just above the jump thruster, you can hit e and enter, also idk if ur still alive, hope your not
