This mod seems to work similarly to vanilla vitals machines, where an electrically powered building supplements a hospital's efficacy by buffing stats. Expanding on this, similar buildings with a focus on ICU-type life support could offer a less expensive way to prolong the lives of terminally ill pawns before cryptosleep caskets are viable.
Mechanical Ventilator - an invasive device which forces air into the patient's lungs.

Dialysis Machine - connected to the patient's bloodstream, this device helps filter blood.
Heart Lung Bypass - a machine which skips the heart and lungs, replacing the functionality of both.
These machines would work to extend the life of terminal pawns, similar to how cryptosleep caskets are used. However, despite being cheaper than cryptosleep, these all require electricity to function. Players would need to consider backup power in order to keep life support online in case of an emergency.
Now the more technical questions: each IV so far buffs every single pawn in range. For life support machines each one should probably only work if the pawn is incapable of breathing / blood filtering or heart beating. Correct? That means that the pawn needs to be able to live before being killed by their injuries. There's a mod that does this (Death Rattle) and so it might be required to work with the life support additions. Thoughts on this?
Thanks for that. Huge amount of effort clearly has gone into it. Also, thanks for making the sprites again. I can see you're invested in my mod and that feels great :)
@Renousim as an alternative, I think it would be cool to "combine" IV drips. Like 2 bags on one pole. Although in practice it would probably just be separate "buildings" for each combo
Or add ventilators for when people have their lungs destroyed if utilized fast enough, same with a cardiopulmonary bypass for the heart, or dialysis for kidneys, etc. This mod could be expansive, and if I knew a THING about modding I'd certainly lend a hand.
Love your mod btw, thanks for keeping it going, this broke gamer appreciates it!
