On crit boosts healing?
Was wandering why this was the case, is crit buffs a new thing and ainz was built from vestel?

Guess it's built from occultist. You could simply change it by replacing "on_crit_healdone" with other string such as "on_crit_stressresist" in the file heroes\ainz\ainz.info.darkest.

How do i do that?

open the file with notepad++:
steamapps\workshop\content\262060\1428433085\heroes\ainz\ainz.info.darkest

change the line:
crit: .effects "on_crit_healdone"
to
crit: .effects "on_crit_stressresist"

or you can use other crit effects listed in DarkestDungeon\effects\base.effects.darkest
such as:
"on_crit_speed"
"on_crit_crit"
"on_crit_acc"
"on_crit_def"
"on_crit_prot"
"on_crit_dmg"
"on_crit_dmgmarked"
"on_crit_dmgbleeding"
"on_crit_stressresist"
"on_crit_bleedchance"
"on_crit_blightchance"
"on_crit_healdone"
"on_crit_stresshealdone"
