Lore:
These are the times before the histories of the world were recorded when the stories were told by men. A time when swords clashing would pierce the air, blood stains across the ground, and villages would burn into ruins. The brutal people are fierce and seen as berserk. Their glory is found in the destruction they cause. While they still live in death and revel in war. These are the Norsemen, the Vikings. Blood, fear, and honor. The love of hatred, the treasure of fame, the brave who fall in battle, These are the Warriors of the North. May Valhalla receive you, children of Odin.

In the early days of Gods and Men...

The people of Midgard, the first of men to make way to the Isleen Island. They worshiped the Gods of Asgard with honor and loyalty and in turn, the Gods Watched over them. The saying went, "Blessed are we for Odin watches us from the Corner of his lone eye". When Isleen was being besieged by Giants from the realm of Jotunheim, they withheld them for 20 days and 20 nights. All looked as if it was lost when the prayers of the people were answered with the Host of Asgard being led by the All-father Odin and the Gods themselves stood side by side with men and drove back the Giants and freeing Midgard once again. The losses of men and women alike almost cleared out the men of the northlands. It was then the All-Father Odin bid the Asgardians lay with the mortals, for they were found to be fair and becoming. It was the All-Fathers Decree that these mortals fought brave and true, therefore the bloodline will be strong and will stand to all enemies that threaten them. The offspring of the mating were not granted immortality nor godly abilities, but the blessing of the blood, long-lived and resilient. Illness and sickness could be had and death would still come in battle to all. It was the way of things in life and the All-father could not grant this ability to even these courageous mortals. The leader of these people was Asmund, and he was given the title of The Furyhammer, the defender of Isleen and Sentinel of Midgard. Over time it is said that the bloodline was spread throughout the other tribes and people that encountered the northland islands, the People of Asmund. The descendants of Asmund now gone and the Mantle of Furyhammer lost. Jarls now rule the land with strength and temperament that give the people freedom and peace.

The Isleen Island is being rebuilt after the long hardship of a tyrants rule. Gosta the Fritjof, the false king, deceased brother to Jarrick Foeheim was defeated in a rebellion to retake the kingdom. Gosta had overthrown his brother and invaded Isleen with a force of strange-looking foreigners. In the recent days, the heirs of Jarrick have retaken the Isleen Islands and now look to rebuild their homeland. Aid is needed and new settlers are welcomed and wanted.

Whether they be true or not is only that of what these Northmen believe. It is known that the Isleen Island vikings do have a strange way of defying the march of time it would seem. The island seasons never change, Men are battled and scarred, Women seem to keep beauty and figure, but it is, after all, a the legend handed in stories down by these northmen.
