Playing the mod is very similar to playing vanilla ARK. First to create your dino, you need to go to the Character Creation screen in the Spawn Menu. Here you can select your species and modify your looks.

When spawning in you can gather, fight and level just like normal. To mate with other dinos you need to be a female of a species that can breed. Get close to a male of the same species and wait till the mating bar fills. Now either an egg will be added to your inventory or a gestation timer will start. When the gestation timer ends the baby will be born. To hatch your egg you need to drop it in the nest (which you can craft inside your inventory). You can feed you baby by looking at it and press E.

Managing your pack can be done via the Pack Manager menu (press M). Here you can rename, toggle wandering and set the agression of your pack. You can also send tribe invites to nearby players. The locations of yourself and your pack are visible on the map.

To join tribes you can either send other players an invite via the Pack Manager or get knocked out, then other players can walk up to you and press E to add you to their tribe.
