First of all: Iove your work, didnt know i missed a less op mi24 with a glasshouse gunner position

when landing with slow forward speed the helicopter sometimes wont slow down and just glides with the same speed

also it occurs that after landing the helicopter seems to bounce off its rear landing gear, damaging the engine and bouncing down a hillside until it hit a tree and exploded.

the zoomed in state of the gunner mg sight has an uncomfortably high zoom level, but that may just be my personal preference. if you choose to leave the zoom level as is, i would advise you to create a higher resolution texture of the reticle.

I'm a bit puzzled by the door between cockpit and passenger hold, at the moment this is more of a hand-through than a real passage.

One thing - it's not a door, it's kinda window, huh. Gliding after landing was already reproted, we're working on it, as other mistakes with gear

the only assumption i made properly bit me in the ass :) i only ever sat in the back of a rickety old mi-8t and figured that the mi-24 would have a similar door.

some things i noticed which are far less severe than the landing gears:

Rotor blades dont get destroyed when colliding with buildings or trees and can cause you to get catapulted away instead of dropping to the ground like a vanilla helo, but many mod helos do that so i figure this may be hard to set up.

when sitting in the pilot seat while the vehicle explodes the camera position is set to an awkward position somewhere behind the crew compartment - this may be an indicator that the crew death animations arent set up correctly, but this is just an assumption as i dont know enough about armas codework to be sure about stuff like this

switching between normal passenger positions and ffv positions is not possible.

pilot, gunner and ffv positions cannot be shot, normal passenger positions can be shot but only through the opened side doors.

when killed with setDamage 1, all positions have death anims, but as soon as the helicopter changes its model to exploded/burnt model, the pilot and gunner bodies vanish while other positions seem to be fine.

I'd like to take this opportunity to remind you that we're in v0.3 beta release, also known as "kinda works".
Pilot, gunner and meat compartment shooter positions were made this way so that this can be used against bots (they can still be shot with high caliber vanilla rifles), so at this point making crew more vulnerable is not on the top of the docket.
We also appreciate your feedback, because there are still lots of things that need to be done. We're getting there.

Don't get me wrong, im not trying to criticise or push you to fix anything, id just like to help with what little i can do. With you mentioning high caliber rifles though: I tried to shoot out gunner, pilot and ffv with a dshkm from side with no effect, which leaves me wondering what we did different

Maybe it's an angle issue? I shot him standing right in front, perpendicularly to the helicopter's facing direction. But again, this was left as it is so this would be viable for those Arma players who like PvE, because bots can sometimes headshot you with 9mm peestol from 3 kilometers away while you're flying at 300 kmph

tried to score a kill from the front with dshkm hunter hmg and navid, no effect. anything bigger just causes the whole helicopterto go up in flames. If this is intentionally made for pve players, do you plan for another realistic version which could be used ai-controlled or in pvp?

It wasn't "intentionally made", it's just that one of the bugs that won't be fixed right away, but closer to the point where the addon is no longer beta. And tell that you just shoot at the helicopters with small arms and it works all the time. You either use AA installements/armoured vehicles/launchers, or start putting dirt on your face so you won't be spotted.

All of those rifles are at or below 12.7x108mm, and the Hind's hull has always been rated for 12.7x108mm in addition to the rotors. That's realistic.

shots were fired through glass, i doubt (but have no source or proof) that the panorama windows of the cockpit are made from armored glass since they're rounded. Only the Windscreens, not bubble canopies of the later hinds were armored as i recall from a discussion in the cup discord a while ago, it would be quite baffling to me if this was a downgrade

All hind versions had armoured glasses. By the way, it's the most armoured place in that helicopter. There were no Hinds in Afganistan War, which had been destroyed by penetrating glass (cause there were no cases of that) but crew could be killed by penetrating hull hit
