The Mobile Sentry Gun

So what's the point then?
Engineers can already get in the front lines with a mini-sentry, and all the debuffs to this mobile tank thing seem like it wouldn't be of use anyway. If a team really needed to make a push the engineer would be better off just switching to heavy and having a friend uber him through the next area. So what's the point in having this? (I'm not tearing down your wall, I'm asking the questions valve might be wondering)

is the same as heavy .. it fire when it move..???..

I think the main difference is to provide a different gameplay, especially very fun to play as engineer. Only one game in the world provide a third person controled "mobile sentry" it's bulletstorm during 5 minutes in a sequence where we must remotely control a dinosaure with a sort of wrangler.

Good engineers in open area following a pushing team could be very efficient to harrass the enemy team if the incoming spies are stopped, the sentry is more efficient than a heavy in long range.

teen_wolf30: the mobile sentry will not have as many HP of a mini sentry with the shield, that makes it less offensive. But the mobile sentry can hide and attack and be repaired, escape or follow, it's more durable, a different approach.

..... when i switch off to heavy, you wont have a teleport nor dispenser. This is a way for the engineer to guard his nest, AND be on the front lines
