Hey! rly nice mod dude! just got a suggestion for you! Norscan Housecarls are 120 men per squad. Imo they seem like elite norscan warriors and should be way less per squad. maybe just like chaos warriors or so! so mby if u agree on that u could give em some more stats and reduce their numbers. Great mod =)

about the weapon strength: you mean the ones with shields? i already thought the same but i am not sure how much is possible without screwing up the balance. at the end, they are still meant as holding unit and too high damage output would make the ones with halberds and greatweapons nearly useless. how much would you suggest? :steammocking:

If you search for Warhammer Norse pdf it should give you a complete custem made roster that can give you more ideas of what to add to the Norscan roster

Well! The eater I know u wanted that unit to be a "holding" unit but if we check out how norsca and chaos rule they are like more offensive than anything. I would make them like something between Chaos warriors and chosens. The huge armor they got its already a good tool to be a defensive unit. Maybe just lower the meele defence and up the weapon strenght. I think units more "disciplinet" like elfs or dwarfs have more sense with high meele defense than a barbarian that just wants to chop things like norscans and chaos want. Its just my thoughts ^^

Btw! in campaing in order to improve the norsca housecarls how do you do it? They gain all benefits from other marauders tree tec?

they are part of the unit junctions of "all marauders" and "marauder infantry". so they should get all buffs which apply to all marauders or the infantry of all marauders. pls tell me if this should not work :)
i think i will manage to update this mod in the next 24 hours. i did some changes to the stats of the housecarls but i can't release them right now because i am stuck with some of the unit models:steammocking:

- do u plan to expand Dark elf roster for sfo? there is no unit pacts on sfo for them =(
- About Housecarls again. They look amazing now man rly good job. What do u think making their armor darker instead of shiny? maybe u wanted them shiny intended! its just a small detail tho rly cool mod ^^
- Also some of the norscan units lack at the "physical" resistance that all units in sfo have. I think u gave them magic resistance instead! =)

- i really like the metallic look of their armour. i think it fits more to the other armours of norsca.
- to the dark elves: they never were to my liking. i might make an expansion but not in the near future because making one takes much of time and i don't want to force myself to work on it the whole process. however i could rebalance the units of some other (vanilla) dark-elves-mods for sfo because that would only mean (depending on the amount of units) a few hours. of course i had to ask for permissions

And about dark elves its jsut so odd many factions have tons of units and packs for SFO and if u check dark elves they have like non haha

i will give them the physical resistance by time.
yes i think big part of the communities prefer other factions over the dark elves. even creative assembly had this event some months ago, in which they wanted to bring the community to play them more

I think its all cause they are the "best" faction in multiplayer. Tho that does not mean they should be forgoten in terms of more units by the comunity =( well Im glad about what u did for Norsca! I have a big mammoth waiting for ya my tribesmen pal! :steamhappy:
