INI Options
INI Balance/Feature Config Options
Options shown are defaults
[CoyoPhoenix] SpeedLevelling=False (This will disable the non-speed > speed conversion buff from being applied, and will apply a speed > non-speed conversion buff to existing speed phoenixes) SpeedLevelChargeSpeed=False (This does a live calculation that increases the Phoenix's charge speed based on points spent in speed) PreventLandedRunning=True PreventMating=True PreventImprintFromAshes=True (will change the imprint timer to an unattainable number, effectively disabling imprinting in 90% of circumstances) CooldownAOE=60 RemapFireWyverns=False (applies a conversion buff to tamed Fire Wyverns. These wyverns' fire breath attach much more closely matches the range/speed of the animation, rather than lagging behind slightly) FlyerAllowRidingInCaves=True CarryPhoenixShoulder=False (allows Phoenixes to be shoulder-pets) CanCarryAttack=True (enable/disable "G" grab attack) CanAOEAttack=True (enable/disable "X" AOE attack) FireballMinDamage=12 (minimum tick damage from right-click) FireballMaxDamage=200 (max tick damage from right click) Fireball%HP=0.1 (maximum damage right-click can deal as % total of target HP) ScaleFireBiteMeleeStat=0.01 (does some kinda weird math that adjusts the tick damage of the left-click fire DOT buff based on points spend in melee damage) PhoenixWildSpeedScale=1.000000 (adjusts the fly speed of wild phoenixes, they were intended to be pretty elusive during taming) DisableRetaliatoryFire=False (enable/disable a small AOE DOT around Phoenixes when damaged) DisableFireDmgRetaliation=False (enable/disable retaliation from fire-damage attacks against Phoenixes) RetaliationRadius=500 AcceptTamingDamageType=/Game/PrimalEarth/CoreBlueprints/DamageTypes/DmgType_Projectile_Fire.DmgType_Projectile_Fire (you can specify other damage types to be allowed as valid for taming progress, fire is naturally the only one by default) PhoenixTamingSpeedMultiplier=1.0 (higher is faster) WildPhoenixAshAtNight=False (Phoenixes will return to ash form during the night, and respawn in the day. Useful for maps that don't have Superheats to still have a spawn cycle for Phoenixes) LimitPhoenixSpawns=False PhoenixSpawnLimit=3 (must have LimitPhoenixSpawns=True) PrepareUninstall=False (this option will force a bunch of conversions all at once. Recommended to back up before using, but should enable for complete removal of this mod without losing dinos!)
SpeedLevelling must be set to True for the SpeedLevelChargeSpeed to work (speed levels increase supercharge speed as well).
PrepareUninstall requires a server restart to take effect.

INI Cosmetic Config Options
UseBodyColorsParticles=True (uses color region 0 to select particle color type. Does NOT take effect instantly) BodyColorChargeFlames=False (Charge flames = flames around Phoenix while supercharging) Uses the "0" color region to set the fire particle's color. OverrideParticleColorRegionSelection=0 Allows you to set WHICH color region is chosen for fire particle color. CustomFireParticleColorRGB=R,G,B,A (this affects all Phoenixes) DisableBabyFireParticles=False Only ONE color option should be enabled at a time.

Is there an option to revert the speed to base vanilla speed for the phoenix?

If you mean the tamed speed, then no

Great but is it possible to add an option for it to serve as source of heat for hatching eggs and providing a hypothermal insulation? (when fire particles are on of course)

I think it actually does have a tiny bit of hypothermal insulation around it.. maybe I made it half of a torch or something? I can't remember. I want to say it was just a default option.. I can check

Nevertheless I'd love to have the amount it provides as a customizable .ini option. I was really pissed that default phoenix doesn't do that, and you're my only hope since your mod is the best phoenix improvement out there, and I feel like it's the last detail it lacks... But actually tying this effect to turning on particles and having the ability to customize the amount in radial menu would be best, since different eggs require different temperature, and since phoenix nature is fire-based, I thought it would be logicall if he could control the hotness of his flames (this could also explain why player can ride it not burning to death in the process)

Hey there, just an update - this function doesn't appear to work correctly in the kit. There's some old references to other people trying to work with it. It appears that the values can be edited, but not the activation component of it.. sorry. Nothing I can do to fix that, unfortunately. I even updated my kit and recompiled a bunch of stuff to check on this lol. :pup:

Ok, I see. Cheers man, appreciate your hard work anyway! Not every developer listens to fan feedback, far not. The dedication you put for my humble request fascinates me. All the best ^^
Quick question, first off this is awesome, way better than any other phoenix mods out there. So my question is about the flame color, and should i make sure to just have the UseBodyColorsParticles on true and I shouldn't use the charge color one too? I want to make sure I'm reading that right, Cuz right now the flame colors are staying what the 0 region was at, (im using the dino colorizer mod) and the body color isn't changing the flames passed the spawned colors
Nevermind I think I found out how it can work with the dino color gun, It seems to be working now if i use the "ark" option for the colors.

Great! Also, the "N" key toggle for flames does a re-check of several functions. It's a "reset" of sorts for some variables. :pup:

do these go in game.ini or usersettings? i do not really have a clue about these things xD
Aries 4 Feb, 2022 @ 11:12pm
is there a way to override the charge color, i set my flame colour to region to, but upon charging, it switches to colour region 0
Aura 5 Mar, 2023 @ 6:05pm
where do i place these ini settings?
