Small gripe but I played as Arnor in Atmora and within a year was in a PU with Windhelm (I started the game with no heir and a 100+ year old ruler), I kept getting dragged into endless wars that I could not peace out of or even interact with since Windhelm wasn't even accessible to me and vice versa. I noticed Windhelm also had native reservations in Atmora which dragged me into even more pointless wars.

With no sea access, I had no way to even try to get to Windhelm to eventually break free of them. But I think the main issue here is that even though I'm sure Atmoran nations may be distantly related to the Nords, a PU should not be possible to happen, especially this early on in the game since lore wise Windhelm shouldn't even know our nation exists. As far as I was aware, Atmora and Akavir were mere concepts to the Tamrielic people, similar to how the New World in our universe was a mere concept until we discovered North and South America.

Anyways, I gave up on the save when I started losing territory in wars that I'm not even sure how I got dragged into.
