Cannot cancel tributaries
This is a relatively minor bug - the workaround is either buy Mandate of Heaven OR as I did, simply declare war on your tributary and accept the stability hit. This is by no means a game breaking bug but worth looking at when you have time.

Basically, I am able to add tributaries (somehow without the required DLC), however I cannot cancel them in the diplomatic menu. I've looked everywhere and apparently this is a rare bug in the base game as well where you get Crimea as a tributary through some event and then cannot release them. However, in ESU I can in fact explicitly add a trubutary without the DLC. This should not even be possible I'd have thought but since it is, there should be some sort of check for if you have the DLC and if not, you should not be permitted to add tributaries.

Cheers!

You know, that's a strange issue, as if I do not turn on mandate of Heaven, I just simply do not get any tributaries...

That is strange! You mean the option to add them is not there at all? What if you have MoH turned on? Can you remove one if you have them in that case?

I'll continue to use the workaround of attacking my tributaries when they're no longer wanted and not adding new ones going forward. Really weird that you can't reproduce this bug though.

Yes, If i start as WGT without MoH I do not have EoC and tributaries.

Weird. It shouldn't matter what country but I'm playing as Coldharbor if that helps. Removing them is the real problem. I'm wondering if you have any issues removing them (with the DLC enabled)?

There are no issues with removing the tributaries with DLC, as there is an action for that. However, I have added a custom tributary cancel action with a requirement of NOT owning MoH. Hope it helps, but I guess we will be able to see that after the release on weekends.
