im not to sure, but the image on the skins chest looks like a bird in flight of some sort, at least to me, something like a Bluejay or Falcon if your getting symbolic. And regarding the Falcon, Egyptian lore depicts the god of Ra as a Falcon wearing a Disk or Circle crown. probably a stretch but why not.

Another note, the staff he's holding also looks similar to the "was" sceptre, illustrated with other egyptian gods, including Ra, in Egyptian heiroglyphs.
