Seriously, I have actually stood in the pathway of enemy fighters and maybe got damaged a little bit, but still survived. The fighter call is too weak and yet commanders still insist on calling for it when it is not effective to do any sort of damage. Sometimes I even purposefully expose myself to to enemy fighters to demonstrate to commanders on how worthless it is and demand they stop calling them.

The fighters need an actual damage buff, they are just too ineffective to be useful compared to the other commander call in abilities.
