Decided to post some inside dev info and fun facts on the mod for anyone that's interested!

1.The ice globe used to be a big forest/cat island that was filled with the ninja cats that steal items from hat kid. It was scrapped however, since it wasn't different enough from other locations. Plus it wasn't all that interesting or fun.

2.During development I made an ice pillar ability that was gonna be used in the ice globe. Since it's so cold there, Hat kid's water hair would turn into ice, changing the ability from the water dash to an ice pillar. This ability was scrapped however, since it made the water armor upgrades useless and made the ice globe feel too much like its own mod. Preferred to not add too many new things in 1 mod.

3. The mod was originally supposed to be a quick, short parkour course on the sea. I then created the water dash ability and from that, the big open world was created.

4. The level "The Reversed Tower" Is simply the tower from my previous mod "Operation: Caw_Base_Infiltration" but reversed!

5. The mafia that chucks you at the beginning of the story is a reference to my previous mod "Mafia Chuckster Training Grounds".

6. Early in development, to upgrade Hat Kid's armor you had to get a "Water Essence" which only certain npcs gave. There was only 3 Water Essences to obtain. This was changed to tears because the chances of the player finding 1 out of 3 water essences in a massive world are really low.

7. The mod took around 8 months (on and off) to make.

8. The mod has many easter eggs, some out of bounds and some inbounds. One of them is the golden peter griffin statues, scattered randomly in the mod's levels.

9. King Joffrey is a reference to King Joffrey Baratheon from Games of Thrones.

10. There used to be an item the player could get called "twilight seed". Twilight seeds would be sold by a plant dragon that appears in purple ember forest after obtaining the time piece from snatcher. These twilight seeds could be used in certain spots, creating a super bouncy mushroom, used to reach higher places. This feature was scrapped however, as it wasn't used enough in the mod, and just made things more complicated than they needed to be.
