it's a great suggestion! I always wanted to add more event types but it is actually quite tricky :)
The difficulty with anomalies and archaeology is that the representation in the save file does not really make it easy to extract the precise meaning of the event. However, with the recent patch I will already have to change the dashboard to read the game files (in order to correctly get the names), so it might be possible to do this. So I will try to explore this once more.
Completing of surveys could be possible, but it might have a decent performance hit, I will check that.
Other event types on my to do list include:
- Espionage (spy networks, operations, assets)
- Changes to species rights (e.g. purges, enslaving)
- Changes to policies
- declined diplomatic requests
- Relics
Let me know if you have more suggestions!
As for performance hits, there could always be options enabled with a config file or something similar.
