1: Some of the passing sections feel too packed for a short line when they're five tracks wide. Maybe consider moving some of the industries onto spurs in the center of the map instead of having everything trackside.
2. Even the biggest shortlines handled passengers and freight. Shortlines were the main transport for people in rural areas, and a train could mean the difference between success or failure. Add stations. Even if your passenger service is just people to and from factories, it's still passengers.
3. Town on the curve could use something small. A curved platform station? A small industry? Would love to see a furniture factory or similar industry.
4. All these trees and no logging camp? At least one small sawmill and a logging camp or two could provide more interest in the long stretches.
5.consider having a difference in scenery in some long stretches. Rivers, hills, small bridges, etc. There's a few points where you've got a good start, but some work is needed. 6. Bevel the angles on the arch so they aren't so sharp. It looks odd for a natural rockface to be so hard angled.
7.Best filler industy would be a large strip mine for gravel or similar multipurpose stone.
8.Olive Road feels WAY too big with only a single industry and no other locomotive facilities/ factories. It's 10 tracks wide and is a midpoint on the line! Would consider adding more to do for the size of the yard or trimming the fat.
9.Love the single tunnel. Helps give it a "model railroad" feel. Would conside maybe adding another one at another point to reinforce the mountainous or hilly nature of the "land".
10. Locomotive shed feels too new. I'd definitely go for a brick shed instead of sheet metal. EX: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Westside_Lumber_Engine_Shed.jpg or http://static.webshopapp.com/shops/091110/files/079208486/metcalfe-double-track-engine-shed-n-gauge.jpg?_ga=2.225114906.1855712831.1534135039-418286380.1534135039
11. Engine facility feels weirdly sized and divided. Would suggest googling some smaller yard/ facility combos for reference. http://www.trainweb.org/rahwayvalley/route_kenilworth_yards_1930s1950s.htm
12. Small turntable for the engine yard, please! EX: https://farm1.static.flickr.com/825/41204997715_47b9f6b625_b.jpg
13. Adding an interchange spur for another road can give the illusion of it being part of a larger whole without actually doing so.
Overall, definitely like the motif you're aiming at. It has a feel and a run style different from most of the other maps right now. However, the map tends to feel empty and full all at once. Certain areas are very threadbare with very little to see or do, and then other areas seem too full to the point of being crowded. You're on the right track, tho!
(A definite visit for inspiration is https://cornhillandathertonrr.blogspot.com/ as well as John Allen's Gorre and Daphetid because it's a damn masterclass in railroad building.)

Basically the same track plan, but instead it's got bigger towns, Bigger buildings, and some bigger industries.
