Backup Backpack

Different icons and slots.
Shouldn't the backpack at least have the specific icon of the class wearing it?

Also, what about slots?
Medic:
Would you replace medic melee weapon, because replacing primary would remove the need of the back unless medic becomes a dispenser, and replacing secondary medic can't heal anymore.
Spy:
He only has primary and melee weapon, theres no slot to use this.

Slow resupply seems like the best option because heavy and pyro never reload. Unless this increase the clip size for them.

This would need to work in very different way for most classes.

But I really like the concept and design, hope this gets added, Valve will figure out what to do if they do add.

Did you know that it's fisically impossible for pigs to look up?

most classes don't need extra ammo. I think this was intended to be a heavy/soldier/engineer item (don't quote me on that)

That's right. It's really only meant for Heavy, Engineer and Soldier.

Also the slot is not a problem it can be just the secondary slot.
But it would do a great misc cosmetic

The medic could replace his secondary with the backpack, buffing nearby teamates like the King powerup in mannpower, buffing reload speed and fire rate and giving health regen. also increasing the medic's own self heal(but only when nearby other teamates) .Maybe also being able to hand out medium healthpacks with the secondary fire, they would have a cooldown.

I'm sorry but medic's secondary is his medigun , sacrificing the medigun for that would be a waste. If it would sacrifice his primary then sure.

I disagree, being able to buff multiple nearby teamates with reload and fire speed and health regen, would still be usefull.

It's called "medic" not "supporter"

Medic is a support class, and with the backpack the "Battle medic" playstyle could be more helpful than it is currently.

But a medic whit this weapon is too op you can heal more that 1 guy at a time and drop medkit?
That is too much.

It would be slower than the stock medigun, but you would buff multiple nearby teammates.

Still medic use medigun not backpack and also this weapon is for ammo not heal teamates

You could change it up a bit for medic and add some supplies and a heal logo instead of the ammo logo. Also "Demoman use stickybomb launcher, not a shield".

To be multiclass it should act in a similar fashion for all classes. And this item is more related to ammo than health, the idea of healing multiples allies like the amputator taunt does could be used in other item.
