There's no point in telling someone to redesign a purely cosmetic item in a sci-fi/fantasy game because its unrealistic, if you want something that's so accurate then why don't you design a "realistic" skin yourself instead of needlessly attacking others' hard work?
The heat/flames is basically more salt in the wound.
A: It's a cosmetic item, it doesn't add any fire damage.
B: Now imagine impaling someone who is now going to be burned around the point of impact.
