Anyhow, that out of the way, I think this is a great, classy, and very "TF2" gun that should be added shortly. Valve, check this out man, it's a great throw-back to the turret you guys made along with some added functionality (and dashing good looks).
It's goofy, it's crazy; it needs attention. I would also like to know if the ammo moves while running, or if it is rigid. The idea of having it be thrown on the ground as a mini sentry is also cool, but I would like to take it a step further by suggesting that it only becomes a mini sentry if you reload it. When reloading, any ammo remaining is discarded and remains in the weapon, giving it a short life expectancy. You could make 1-2 of these and be out of ammo so that the field doesn't become overly crowded, and then like Steelzander suggested: it could be re-harvested for extra scrap metal.
