Perhaps Slightly too... Mythical?
First of all, amazing look and design, however, it doesn't quite feel like Warframe, or Nidus for that matter.

The gargoyle pattern is adhered to to a fault... it just doesn't feel like a character that belongs in a sci-fi. Nidus isn't a technological character in the first place, so perhaps add some flair that really sets this gargoyle character in Nidus's world. Add tendrils and split the mask, as if something is growing out from the inside. Drop the hooks on the wings, make them look more infected.

Isn't the point of a skin is to diversify the theme or feel of a character?

Neither does a frame wearing an air hostess outfit into battle (one of Nova's alt skins), A completely useless set of ornamental swords in a syndana slot, or an old-style western gunslinger in the space age (one of Mesa's alt helms/her general theme).

Warframe's a hybrid of sci-fi and fantasy, the theme is diluted enough that this sort of skin is acceptable. Nidus's aesthetic theme is sufficiently bizarre that a wildly unusual skin like this would work.
