@kerrigan1603 Maybe, however not sure if that fits with the theme of the mod. Droids are more of a subservient species not a full one like how I see Terminators.

@OverlordMGC Again maybe. Tbh I've never played Half Life and therefore would be terrible at representing the lore. Additionaly from what I can tell from this wiki page: http://half-life.wikia.com/wiki/Synth Synths would most likely not fit with the theme of the mod due to being cyborg creatures. Good idea anyways tho :)

@Cosmosis Great Idea! Had compleatly forgoten the big droids of the prequels but now I definitely want to add them to the mod! Thanks!

Droid ships that, while absolutely useless in combat, are cheaper to make and don't use as much fleet cap as other ships sounds like an interesting concept . . .

You can still use the factory building icon I made if you like, that one is made purely from vanilla assets, so no copyright problems. I will convert the image into dds for you if you need.

It might be a good idea to make the tech for creating droid pops a prerequisite to making the armies, and make synths another prerequisite to the advanced armies/vehicles as the techs are pretty OP early on. Before 50 years pass you can have 4k armies on several planets made of insanely strong armies compared to the rest of the army techs the AI uses. Just entwine them with vanilla techs so its a bit more balanced instead of having the ability to research them all one after the other.

Definitely need droid starfighters, and maybe droid crewed ships. Could reduce repair and maybe they can't flee?

Another opption could be using utility or AI slots for things such as Droid crew, and droid captains respectively. Or maybe leave the ai slot alone and have 3 components, one for droid crew, one for droid captain and one for both?
