I added the Russian folder to public/* modname * / localization and translated everything in localization folder (mod and public). In the game everything is translated, but all the new icons have become a white square.

I'm only doing this for myself and I'm not going anywhere to upload this.
1. I assume you've extracted the mod already, so open it up in the editor
2. Open up the resource manager and scroll to the bottom till you find the folder for my mod. Click on the file named "Icons"
3. Click on the file named "newatlas" and find the field in the table on the bottom right called "Source File"
4. Use this field to change the source file for the mod. And find the original file. It should be under something like C:/Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/Common/Divinity Original Sin 2/DefEd/Data/Public/NewSkillCombos_634f74dd-0a78-e5d5-d396-41cda916643f/Assets/Textures/newatlas.dds
