Odd choices for the mod
So, with the latest update, I'm not entirely certain on the mod makers 'path' he wants. This mod is amazing, because it really adds a lot of RP elements and the ability to survive outside of cities, creates a nice camp feel and a very nice viable early game route.

A pet project samurai and random musket added in? That doesn't make any sense to what this mod is, at all. Doesn't fit the flavour, I feel like it should have been it's own 'thing' and not shoehorned into the mod. It's frankly enough to make someone want to uninstall it due to lore breaking additions.

As a side note: I'm well aware they're not added to the world and can be ignored in the research, but the *practise* of doing it is what bothers me and a few others who use the mod I know of. So, just food for thought mainly aimed at the mod developer. Of course you're working on it, so you can do as you wish, but just know if future support of this mod keeps going in a direction that makes no sense and eventually ruins the experience, I'll have to uninstall it and I know for a fact, others will be turned off by it too.

Good to hear your opinion on the new things I added into the mod. And I understand why it shouldnt be in there. I am not a big friend of making a lot of different addons, because it gets hard to make compatibily patches for them.
So I came to a conclusion which hopefully makes all happy and I wont have to much work with it.
I will make some more updates to this mod which will take some time and are hopefully not to anoying for some players. I hope it will not to hard for you and other players to ingnore them if you dont like it.
When I am done with it I can use the same mod and cut out the things which arent very lore friendly and upload it. So it will be a survival mod like it was in the early phase of this mod.
It should be savegame compatible when its done. Because it will have the same mod name and folder.

I hope I hear from you guys what should be cut off the mod. So I will have to do it only once.

I would like just the build objects like the entire campsite addon within the mod cause I need more little tidbits to litter all over my base. Would be a very popular mod and addition to the game! The reason I havent added this into my game is its lore breaking and I dont want guns or more items in my game as its already heavily modded.

Ok if I understand correctly, you want a mod only with the camping stuff, the traps and fishing?
No new resources like the plants and wood? And no weapons and armors?
I can make it, but it takes time and I need to know exactly what should be included.
Make a list with the content and I can begin to work on it.

A standalone version as it was before you added all the custom samurai stuff and the guns and sulfur ect would be greatly appreciated, if you have the time.

I will make a light version of the mod, probably after the next update.

Basically everything in the main picture of the mod that is displayed. :)

And yeah. No new resources etc. No new armours or weapons. Thanks man! Much appreciated! :D

@Fion
I can do that. What about a research tree? Do you want everything available at the start?
Stupendous Man  [developer] 7 Apr, 2019 @ 1:43pm
@Fion
Some things will be a little bit odd to implent. The sawhorse should have some function and without the trees as resource it will be only a placeable object. If this is what you want.
Fion 7 Apr, 2019 @ 1:49pm
Oh yes! Just have static objects with no other action then just being there would be great! You can take those options out if possible like the ones that added in new resources. Like the campfires using those new resources. They could be removed and just made to cook fish or dried meat for those without the main mod. It can be its own little vanilla mod for the base game. This would just make bases more lived in which is what I was going for. This mod is going to be fantastic!

And research tree sure! You can find it in bars I guess like most of the others if you want to have it as blueprints. Or just already researched. I think blueprints being in bar would be a nice touch but doesn't have to be.

It will take some time until I can make the mod. I am working on some new stuff to implent and after that I make a light version of this mod.
BP will be probably the easiest way to implent it.
What about the traps? Should I implent them as working buildings or only as placeable object?
I can take out the crab, batrat and froggo items and make them produce raw meat if you want. Then it would only be vanilla items in the mod.
Fion 7 Apr, 2019 @ 2:21pm
That sounds good! :) I wonder if making that a thing would exploit the game though.

Actually I think just remove those traps. There are other mods adding in fishing stuff and other things.

Take things out is easier than put them in :)

Please dont mess with the vanilla tech tree, or make a version that does not modify it, took me a lot of time to isolate the problem to this mod, and i installed a ton of mods.

^ so if you are still working on this...

I feel that
1.) Sticks should be 1/2 as light as logs
2.) Thicks should be a thinner than lumber.
3.) Lumber should be lighter than logs
4.) you could also make logs 2x as heavy. with sticks being (2kilos), lumber (3kgs), and logs at 4kgs

Sounds good, if I come back to mod Kenshi again I will look into this. But I am very busy at the moment.
