You might be able to restore this mod to that version. On the 16th I uploaded a version of this mod which was either the version that fixed the road or the version before it (the change to the road involved editing a rigid_spline so it won't effect save files). You can download this version here:

To install download the expanded.rar, and rename the expanded.pack to expanded1.pack, and put it in your "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\total war shogun 2\data" folder. Load the expanded1.pack instead of the expanded.pack.

Gamefront isn't available in all countries so let me know if you want me to upload the previous version of this mod somewhere else.

i fixed it by restoring the expanded.pack to the version before the update in the propeties. next up i changed the file to read only. also by unsubcribing the file wouldn't auto update so now i can play. but ty for your reaction.

also could the mod use a updater that ask you if you want to update? to save people problems like this?

Another solution is to simply rename the mod pack so that Steam can't overwrite it.
