Overlord Overhaul
The biggest challang with this map is, to reimagin its lay out. It has gone through roughly 30 rebuilds before i've came to a conclusive figure 8 design. The fun bits have been coming up with the differnt themes for each area of the map. While still keeping to the origanal maps Lore. The vikings beach landing area is still the same, the inner castle is the same. What changed is the pirates no longer can get into the castle from a side route nor do the kights spawn inside the castle. This was done to stop the every one meet in the middle and fight problem. Now the pirates have a large lava tube to spawn in. the walk ways have been widened to provent the moving territory from knocking you into the lava below but, is still a grate place for sparta kicks. more cover improvments will be added in time. As the photo subjest there is a new area in the map. The knights spawn in the town. The buildings are a fantacy nortic style. This area is complete it just needs polishing. Finnally the vikings, there spawn point is an interesting one. they will spawn acrossed the shore and take a bridge over to the main map. There area is a shipping birth and sea port. >.< im going for a very particular design to this area and its mainly whats holding down the map from completion. It surves 2 very important roles in the over all map layout. It brakes the large open space on that side of the map but also make scents as to how the vikings pirates and knights got here.

major changes in this update. I can only do so much on my own. So I am curious what you guys think. try its current build out with friends and let me know how it plays. before i progress to adding more structures, details and fully optimizing it for a full server game. :steammocking:
