Bug Reports and Known Issues
Found a bug relating to this mod? Please report it here so that I can work on rectifying the issue.

Be sure to provide as much detail about the bug so I can squash it easily!

PLEASE NOTE: Whilst this mod may cause incompatibilities with others, please ensure before reporting that the bug is caused specifically by this mod and not another. Thanks!

Known Issues
  • There is currently a bug affecting some Divinity 2 DE players whereby their mods and updates are being downloaded into \SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\43510. Move these .pak files into \Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition\Mods\ to fix the issue!
  • Some players have reported that joiners in multiplayer games sometimes have missing visuals[prnt.sc] and crashes in some rare cases. This is caused by a version mismatch of one or more mods between the host and players. To rectify this, each player and the host should delete all of the mod files from \Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition\Mods\, allow Steam to redownload them, and then reactivate them in the Mods menu in the game. This ensures that all members are running the same version of mods as the host.

Thanks Odinblade. Just saw this, and I can confirm the deleting of mod files and re-downloading resolved my issue with multiplayer crashes.

The skills pertaining to your mod packs have no images, I am only playing singleplayer and it happened after "Odincore" became mandatory

Hey again, apologies for misreading your first comment - brains been in autpilot today! Couple of quick questions to help me replicate the issue: is OdinCore enabled in the mod menu and above my other class mods in the load order? If you hover over Umbra and OdinCore, what version numbers do they list?

Weird thing happening, whenever I put a specific skill into the skillbar, (in my case, Ice Wall, Frozen Bulwark and some others), other icon images become blank- not just all the hydrophist skills but other skills like Teleport and Cloak and Dagger,

Can you post a screenshot of your action bar please? I think I know the cause but just want to double-check.

Classic mods are ok. They don't require OdinCore :)

I reloaded the game and the icons reappeared, weird xD.

I've got kind of a weird problem... I downloaded OdinCore and a few of your class mods. As far as I can tell everything works fine as of now (I could enable all mods, put OdinCore on top of the load order, had no crashes, etc...), but everytime I load up a save I get a warning saying that I'm using the class mods without OdinCore... Is the message bugged or is it an issue with my game? And what can be the consequences?

Hmm... That’s odd. If you hover over the OdinCore mod in the Mods menu, could you tell me what the version number is please?

Thank you for the quick reply! As I tried to get the Version IDs of the mods I got an idea. I couldn't retrieve the OdinCore Version ID since hovering over it didn't show a pop-up window. So I thought it might have been a hidden error by DOS2 / the Steam Workshop. In the end I managed to repair it.

I'll leave my full solution here if anyone should have the same problem:
1. Unsubscribe from OdinCore
2. Delete it from documents/larian studios/dos2 de/mods (odinCore_... .pak)
3. Subscribe to OdinCore
4. Wait for Download
5. Start DOS2
6. Close DOS2
7. Move the pak from the known (and false) download location to the mods folder mentionend above
8. Profit

Sorry for bothering you!
Keep up the good work!

Honestly, thanks you so much for taking the time to leave an update - especially in as much detail as this! Hats-off to you!

Glad to hear you got it sorted and it sounds like it was just a funky Steam Workshop downloading issue! Best of luck with your playthroughs and I hope you have fun with my mods :steamhappy:
Dreadlord Zolias 20. sep. 2018 kl. 14:08
So, me and my friend have been playing a modded run for the past couple days now... He's a Valkyrie/Resonator combo, and I'm pretty much the Umbra assassin-style. We have the crafting overhaul, as well as all of Helaene and Odinblade mods, and we've been playing constantly.

Today, we noticed updates for a number of mods, and even found that your mods have been updated to require OdinCore. So, we downloaded OdinCore, moved all updated mods to the proper folder, and since it's his file, he activated them in the proper order.

This is where the problems start...

I loaded in the game, and a lot of the icons were missing. I just thought the game had removed them for some reason, so I pressed the K button on the bottom bar, and then the game crashed entirely for me. He could access it, but I could not.

We tried unsubscribing, then manually deleting them, then resubscribing, and replacing them into the proper folder (still not sure why Steam doesn't do that itself, but whatever), tried it again, and recreated the crash in the exact same way.

I even validated my files' integrity, found a problem which was restored, and thought it was fixed. Tried again, same exact crash. The above fix has failed, and now steam doesn't even give us the files when we unsub and resub to them...

I'm confused as hell, my buddy doesn't know what's going on, and we're at a complete loss. I kinda wanted to suggest making a new file, but we put so much work into this one that it'd be quite disheartening for both of us if we were forced to do so.

EDIT: We have officially managed to redownload the mods, but the problem still occurs. It even affects us during character creation. I think there may be a problem with OdinCore, as we did not have this problem before it being a requirement for your other mods.

EDIT2: I found the problem: User error. My buddy sent me a skype file of his mod list a while ago, and I was using that because I forgot that it wasn't attached. My bad.

I am having somewhat simmilar issues to Dreadlord Zolias above.

Two friends and I are playing a modded playthrough with the umbra class mod and odincore. Since they were updated yesterday my two friends are seeing all of their weapons as shivs and many of their abilities (unmodded abilities) are showing up to them as completely different ones. They also say that -interestingly enough- the female members of the party show up with no armor on at all. (i swear thats what they both say).

I, as the host, are experiencing none of these issues. We are running other mods, however when odincore and umbra are disabled they do not have these problems with their game. We also tested with only those two activated and the issue persisted.

Thank you for taking community feedback and working with us to make your mods better :)

EDIT: it appears you may have addressed this issue in the initial post. I will update later if that fixes it.

EDIT 2: Fixed

Hi,

I had no issues with your mods previously, including post-Odincore. However, today I am unable to get your mods to work.

Other mods are fine, and I have tried enabling just your mods as a process of elimination.

My Odin versions are listed as 1.1.1, the only exception being Umbra (1.1.2) and Odincore (1.0.2).

I have tried unsubbing, resubbing.

All my mods appear in the documents/mods folder.

I have looked on Nexus mods but the last upload dates for those are months ago.

Thanks! I thoroughly enjoy your mods. I'm running Fane as an Umbra class and am having a blast.
