Discussions/Ideas here, dwamaks.
Did I accidently make Asteroid Catapult too good for pirates?

Or maybe you have better ideas of what pirate weapons should look like. Throw them here

A suggestion for the Titan energy weapon, what about a 'cloud lightning' type weapon that has very low (or relatively low for a T-weapon) damage and range, but a very high rate of fire and accuracy? Almost like they've electrified the outer hull of the ship and arcs of lightning are continually coming off of it.

Here's an idea for the She-of-the-Void marauders, the person they worship is actually the Worm-in-Waiting! This would allow the T-class weapon for them to be a variant of the Dimensional Horror's beam or perhaps a weapon that spawns in those tentacles. These would be awesome role play weapons and would just be cool to fight against. It would also fit in well with the idea that the She-of-the-Void marauders are reckless zealots since they actively use and summon appendages of a Dimensional Horror.

The T-sized can't be too powerful though as it's supposed to be what passes for pirates and marauders.

Make it so that the "constant infighting" we hear about in marauder empires actually visible by making or more opposing fleets spawn within its territory every so often and duke it out, possibly even making the marauders stronger over time for when Daddy Khan arrives as leftover stuff from the winning side is added to the normal marauder state :)
You know you want to.

Also overpowered-because-of-them-doing-something-beyond-stupid has very strong Dwamak-smashing energy.
Strapping cannons to space amoebas and leviathans, strike craft that kamikaze into your ships, strike craft that kamikaze into your ships but it actually dispatches a team that takes over the ship from within and then that ship switches over to belonging to the Marauders so that fighting them might only make them stronger or still result in you losing half your fleet even if you have 10x as much fleet power cos your best ships randomly turn on you, hollowed out asteroids with ridiculous hull and armour points, them warp-jumping right in the midst of your ships with immediate high casualties to both sides from the opposite side of the system so they can get around that "haha stupid marauders having hardly any range compared to my ships your missiles mean nothing when I can get you before you're close enough to use them" issue that's allowed me to defeat doomstacks several times the size of my own or even them randomly spawning out of asteroids in their systems while you're fighting so that you go in to fight 30k of pirates and then as you're halfway through sticking your arms into the air in celebration of being about to win another 30k of pirates drunkenly complaining about pieces from the battle piercing their asteroid-houses come out to defend their sanctuary and your mouth just opens with sadness as you watch your fleet get attacked from all sides.
If it's stupid with countless reasons why it wouldn't work but would be utterly broken if it somehow worked they should do it.

Also getting involved in pirate politics sounds really fun, like trying to prop up one of the clans to take over by giving them resources and become a kind of khan that's instead leading a vassal that serves as a stupidly OP ally during wars (but of course wants a share of the spoils or compensation for their people and will turn on you if annoyed). Of course if the clan you try to prop up fails though, you're first on the khan's hit-list. Getting pirates to train your admirals in their sneaky pirate ways could be funny as well, especially if there's a chance for them to instead take your admiral hostage and demand a ransom.
